How to Use tempConvert

Open the app

Launch tempConvert from your home screen. No login, no setup — it's ready immediately.

Choose your direction

Tap the segmented control at the top to choose between Fahrenheit → Celsius or Celsius → Fahrenheit.

Type a temperature

Tap the input field and enter any number. The keyboard will appear automatically. The result updates instantly as you type — no need to press a button.

For negative temperatures

Tap the ± button below the input field to toggle your value negative or positive. Useful for sub-zero winter temperatures or scientific conversions.

Tap the ⓘ icon in the top-right corner to see the app's conversion formulas, reference temperatures, and app information.

Conversions use the exact standard formulas: (°F − 32) × 5⁄9 for Fahrenheit to Celsius, and (°C × 9⁄5) + 32 for Celsius to Fahrenheit. Results are displayed to two decimal places.

The animated thermometer changes color to reflect the temperature: blue for freezing and below, green for comfortable temperatures, orange for warm/hot, and red for dangerously hot. It's a quick visual reference for how the temperature feels.
