Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 4, 2026 · Version 1.0
MyBPLog does not collect, sell, or share personal information. Blood pressure readings, optional heart rate, and optional notes are stored on your device unless you choose to share, export, or print them.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how MyBPLog handles information when you use the iOS app. The app is designed for local personal record keeping.
The app is operated by G. Anderson. Questions can be sent through the support form.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
MyBPLog does not collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, or contact details
- Location or GPS data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Analytics, usage events, crash reports, or tracking data
- Payment information
- Blood pressure readings, heart rate, or notes on a developer-operated server
3. Blood Pressure Readings
Readings you enter are stored locally on your device. The app logs systolic and diastolic values with date and time, and may also store optional heart rate and optional notes for each entry.
You may choose to share, print, or export your log as a CSV file. When you do, you control where that exported information goes through iOS sharing, Mail, Files, printing, or other system features.
4. Microphone And Speech Recognition
MyBPLog requests microphone access so you can dictate into the Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, and Notes fields. It uses Apple speech recognition while a blue field button is active to convert speech into text.
Blood Pressure and Heart Rate fields ignore unrelated speech unless they contain a realistic number pattern. Notes can be free-form text. MyBPLog does not operate its own speech recognition server.
5. Support Requests
If you contact support through this website, your form submission is handled by Formspree and may include the name, email address, device information, and message you choose to provide. This information is used only to respond to your support request.
6. Medical Disclaimer
MyBPLog is for personal tracking and record keeping. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.
7. Children’s Privacy
MyBPLog is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.
8. Changes
If the app’s privacy practices change, this page will be updated before or when those changes become effective.
