About us
Anderson Development is an independent iPhone app studio run by Greg and Caroline Anderson in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
We started building apps because we kept running into problems that existing apps solved poorly — or didn't solve at all. The scrapbooks in the attic. The grocery list that never survived a store visit. The impulse to see what the world looked like through a daguerreotype.
Every app we ship is something we wanted for ourselves first. That keeps us honest about what matters: reliability, privacy, and doing one thing well rather than many things poorly.
We're a small operation by choice. No venture capital, no growth targets, no pressure to build in subscriptions or advertising. We charge a fair price for a product we're proud of, and we support it properly.
All processing in our apps happens on your device. We don't run analytics, we don't track behaviour, and we don't have servers holding your photos or your shopping list. Your iPhone is yours.
When something breaks or needs improving, we fix it. When you write in with a question or suggestion, a real person reads it.
