My Card Creator does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information. Your card designs, imported images, and saved projects stay on your Mac unless you choose to share them yourself.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how My Card Creator handles information when you use the macOS app. The app is designed to work locally on your Mac.
The app is operated by G. Anderson. Questions can be sent through the support form.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
My Card Creator does not collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, or contact details
- Location or GPS data
- Card project contents, imported images, text, QR code contents, or printed output
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Analytics, usage events, crash reports, or tracking data
- Payment information
3. Local Files, Images, And Exports
The app lets you choose image files to place in a card design. Imported image data can be stored locally inside a saved .mycard project file.
The app lets you save and reopen .mycard project files in locations you choose. These files remain on your Mac or in storage locations you control, such as iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or external drives if you choose those locations.
The app can export card sheets as TIFF, JPEG, or PDF files. Exported files are written only to locations you choose and are not sent to the developer.
4. Printing
My Card Creator uses macOS printing features to print cards, fold guides, and cut guides. The app does not send print content to the developer. Your printer, print driver, PDF workflow, or print service may handle print data according to its own settings and policies.
5. Network Use
The app does not require an account and does not upload your card designs or images to a server. If future versions add optional online features, this policy will be updated before or when those features become available.
6. Support Requests
If you contact support through this website, your form submission is handled by Formspree and may include the name, email address, device information, and message you choose to provide. This information is used only to respond to your support request.
7. Children’s Privacy
My Card Creator is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.
8. Changes
If the app’s privacy practices change, this page will be updated before or when those changes become effective.
