Lightroom Classic plugin · macOS

Give your photos
a little movement.

Create the look of intentional camera movement from the photos you already love. Shape a pan, a spin, a zoom, or a flowing curve—then bring the finished image back into Lightroom Classic.

The Adobe Exchange link will be added after approval and publication.

Your photos stay on your Mac. Your originals stay intact.

Find your movementPath illustration
J-curve movement pathAn illustration of a camera moving along a stem and rounded hook.
0°

A straight stroke flows into a rounded hook. Rotate the curve to find your direction.

The moving point traces the camera path.
Shape the exposure

Five paths. Your point of view.

ICM Studio simulates moving a camera during an exposure. Start with your current Develop edits, explore a movement, and decide how much of the original to keep.

01 / MOVEMENT

From straight to sweeping

Choose Directional Pan, Rotation, Zoom burst, J-curve, or S-curve. Create fine streaks, a circular sweep, or a flowing trail.

02 / DIRECTION

Turn the curve

Movement Angle sets the pan direction or rotates a J or S path through −180° to 180°. The control disables for Rotation and Zoom.

03 / BALANCE

Keep a little detail

Set the movement strength, then use Effect blend to mix the simulated exposure with the original. Subtle or abstract is your choice.

04 / PREVIEW

Look before you render

Refresh the preview after an adjustment. Hold Show Original to compare; release the button to return to the effect.

05 / FINISH

A TIFF ready for Lightroom

Create a full-size, losslessly compressed, 16-bit Adobe RGB TIFF. The plugin imports the result and can stack it below its original.

06 / WORKFLOW

Make a series

Apply the same settings to multiple selected photos. Your settings are remembered, and each run creates a separate version.

A few things to know

Questions, answered.

Does ICM Studio upload my photos?
No. The plugin renders and processes images locally on your Mac. It does not require an account or a remote image-processing service.
Can I rotate the J and S curves?
Yes. Use Movement Angle: 0° is upright, and positive values rotate counterclockwise. It rotates the whole path; it does not select a separate starting point along it.
Can I change the effect before creating the final TIFF?
Yes. Change the settings and click Refresh Preview again. A message flags an out-of-date preview. Hold Show Original to compare with the starting image.
Will this alter my original or RAW file?
The plugin creates a separate TIFF beside the original. Your current Develop edits are included in that TIFF, and the original file is preserved. The movement is baked into the TIFF.
Does the preview represent every photo in a batch?
It shows the first selected photograph. The selected settings apply to all selected photos when you create the TIFFs. Fine streaks and texture can look different in full-size output.
