Why does the app ask for Photos permission?
The app uses the iOS photo picker so you can choose a photo to edit. It asks for add-only Photos permission when you save a finished image. It does not need broad read access to your photo library.
Does ICM Photo Forge upload photos?
No. Selected photos and edited results are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
Why does saving take longer than preview?
The preview is rendered at a practical size for responsive editing. Save renders the effect again from the original source image at the export size you choose.
What are motion recipes?
Motion recipes are starting styles for different ICM looks, including ghosting, spin, vertical drift, zoom, crosshatch, light leak, watercolor, and noir treatments.
Can I save at full resolution?
Yes. Tap Save and choose Original to render from the original imported photo dimensions.
Does ICM Photo Forge track me?
No. The app does not use analytics, ads, accounts, or tracking. See the Privacy Policy.
Does ICM Photo Forge use AI?
No. The app uses deterministic on-device image processing.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. ICM Photo Forge supports iPhone and iPad.
