What data Brightroom accesses

What data we collect
None. Brightroom does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no user profiles, and no telemetry.
The App Store privacy nutrition label for Brightroom correctly states: No data collected.
Image and caption processing
All film conversion, color processing, adjustment, crop, and rotation happens entirely on your iPhone using Apple's Core Image framework. Your photos never leave your device during editing.
IPTC captions you write or dictate are embedded directly into the JPEG file saved to your Photos Library. They are not transmitted anywhere and are not accessible to us.
Voice input for captions uses Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer in on-device mode where available. No audio is sent to our servers because we have no servers.
Third-party SDKs and services
Brightroom contains no third-party SDKs or frameworks. It uses only Apple's own system frameworks — Core Image, Photos, Speech, AVFoundation — which are built into iOS. There are no advertising SDKs, no analytics frameworks, no crash reporters, and no social login integrations.
Children's privacy
Brightroom is rated 4+ on the App Store and contains no content inappropriate for any age. Because we collect no data whatsoever, there are no special provisions needed for users under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR). No personal information from anyone, regardless of age, is collected.
Your rights
Because Brightroom collects no personal data, there is no data to access, correct, export, or delete. If you have questions or wish to confirm this, contact us at [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the App Store release notes. Continued use of Brightroom after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
