Why does the app ask for Photos permission?
The app uses the iOS photo picker so you can choose a photo to edit. It asks for add-only Photos permission when you save a finished image. It does not need broad read access to your photo library.
Does Vanishing Frame upload photos?
No. Selected photos and edited results are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
Why does saving take longer than preview?
The preview is downsampled for responsive editing. Save and share render the effect again from the full-resolution source image when available.
What does the guide do?
The guide sets the protected point and falloff line. Use Size, Falloff, Fade, Angle, Stretch, and Blur to control how the motion-smear effect starts and spreads.
Can I use color photos?
Yes. The Tone control switches between BW and Color processing.
Does Vanishing Frame track me?
No. The app does not use analytics, ads, accounts, or tracking. See the Privacy Policy.
Does Vanishing Frame use AI?
No. The app uses deterministic on-device image processing.
