Why does the app need camera access?
Camera access is required for the live preview and photo capture. Frames are processed on device.
Why does the app ask for Photos permission?
The app asks for add-only Photos permission when you save a finished reflected image. It does not need to read your existing photo library.
What reflection counts are available?
Reflections Camera supports 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 10x, and 12x modes. 2x is the classic half-frame mirror. Higher even counts create radial kaleidoscope-style reflections.
Why are there no 3x, 5x, or 7x options?
Mirrored radial reflections close cleanly with even slice counts. Odd slice counts can create uneven joins, unexpected flips, or black gaps, so the app focuses on stable even-numbered options.
Where is the 0.5x lens?
Lens availability depends on what iOS exposes for your device and camera mode. If an ultra-wide camera is available, it appears in the lens menu.
Does Reflections Camera track me?
No. The app does not use analytics, ads, accounts, or tracking. See the Privacy Policy.
Does Reflections Camera use AI?
No. The app uses deterministic on-device camera capture and image processing. Photos are not uploaded for AI processing.
