What should I enter for mat size?

Enter the outside height and width of the mat.

What should I enter for image size?

Enter the image or window height and width that the mat opening should fit.

What is Mat Overlap?

Mat Overlap adjusts the cut opening on each edge. Positive values cut into the image; negative values leave white around the image before the mat begins. Choose from -1 to +1 inch in 1/16 inch steps.

What happens when Extra Offset is None?

The top and bottom borders are equal. The offset amount is disabled and reset to zero.

Why does the app not ask for permissions?

MatBorderCalc is a local calculator. It does not need camera, photo library, location, contacts, or network permissions.

Does MatBorderCalc track me?

No. The app has no analytics, ads, accounts, or tracking. See the Privacy Policy.
