Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 25, 2026 · Version 1.0
Lab Channels does not collect, sell, or share personal information. The app has no network access of any kind. Photos you open are processed entirely on your device and saved back to your library only when you choose to save them.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Lab Channels handles information when you use the iOS app. The app is a photo editor that runs entirely on your device.
The app is operated by G. Anderson. Questions can be sent through the support form.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Lab Channels does not collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, or contact details
- Location or GPS data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Analytics, usage events, crash reports, or tracking data
- Payment information
- Your photographs, or any data derived from them
3. Your Photographs
Photos you open are chosen through Apple's system photo picker and are processed entirely on your device. All colour conversion, channel editing, and blending happens locally.
Edited images are written back to your photo library only when you tap Save. Your original photograph is never altered. Photos are not uploaded, copied off the device, or retained by the app after you close it.
4. Permissions
Lab Channels requests permission to add photos to your library. This is used solely to save an edited image when you ask it to.
The app does not request permission to read your photo library, because Apple's system picker hands over the single photo you select without needing it. It does not request the microphone, camera, location, contacts, or any other permission.
5. Network Access
The app makes no network requests. It contains no networking, analytics, advertising, or tracking code, and it does not communicate with any server, including ours. It works exactly the same with your device in airplane mode.
6. Support Requests
If you contact support through this website, your form submission is handled by Formspree and may include the name, email address, and message you choose to provide. This information is used only to respond to your support request. This applies to the website only — the app itself sends nothing anywhere.
7. Children’s Privacy
Lab Channels is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.
8. Changes
If the app’s privacy practices change, this page will be updated before or when those changes become effective.
9. Contact
Use the support form for privacy questions or requests.
